Important Notice: Clinic Closing

Important Notice: Clinic Closing

Dear Patients,

Women's & Family Health Specialists would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to provide medical care for you and your family. You have allowed us to share in many milestones in your lives, from the birth of a child to the care of a loved one, and for that we thank you! It has truly been an honor to serve you.

We have been part of this community as a private practice for over 40 years. However, current trends in medicine and health care have made it increasingly challenging for private practices to remain open. Therefore, we have reached a point where we are no longer able to continue to practice. We are sorry to inform you that we will be closing our doors at the end of March 2018. Our physicians will be relocating in the local area and hope to be able to continue to care for you and your family at their new locations.

Announcement

Message from Dr. Jordan:

Due to the recent death of my father, I will not be starting at MultiCare until April 16, 2018. Unfortunately this means any urgent medical issues or medication refills will need to be addressed at an Urgent Care Clinic. Thank you for your understanding. Marcia Jordan, MD

After practicing medicine for over 25 years and with the closing of the practice, Naomi Olson has just announced she will be retiring as of April 2018. We wish her the very best in her future adventures. Her patients may continue to schedule with her up until the last day and she will be assisting her OB patients with the transition to another provider based on their needs.

Can I keep seeing my doctor?

YES, you may continue to see your provider. WFHS is deeply committed to your healthcare, and welcomes continuing your care without interruption. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to verify your providers' new medical group (Multicare, Swedish or Valley Medical Center) is covered on your plan.

FOR OUR OB PATIENTS care will continue as usual at WFHS and then transition to your provider's new location.

Dr. Jolly will continue to have her own practice along with her new job teaching at VMC Residency Program, so not to worry she will continue to see her own patients.

Can I Schedule an Appointment?

YES, you may continue to schedule your appointments and see your physician at WFHS up until our closure date as scheduling allows. If you are unable to schedule due to limited availability, you may follow up at their new location.

NOTE: Appointment scheduling is NOT available at their new locations at this time and will NOT be available until just prior to their listed start dates below.

REMINDER: For Dr. Balser’s & Dr. Constantin’s patients – Swedish Primary Care does NOT allow their physicians to manage chronic pain medications or chronic benzodiazepines (alprazolam, lorazepam, diazepam etc.), so we encourage you to look at options for management by a pain clinic or by psychiatry respectively.

How Do I Transfer My Records?

UPDATE:
Now that our clinic is closed, your records will continue to be available to you on a limited basis from our office during the transition to a long term
storage facility. Priority is given to record requests to other physicians for continuation of care. At this time record releases must be mailed

processing them as quickly as possible. Thank you.
